I went through a lot of interests. I wanted to be a fashion designer, so I took sewing class and realized I hated sewing hahaha I just wanted to draw and design, and that didn’t work out because to become a successful fashion designer, you needed to do both:(

Then I wanted to be an architect because I loved to design and draw, so I wanted to stick to a career with similar traits. But not many students were interested in that course so the school didn’t have a class like that for me to take:(

Then I wanted to become a makeup artist and hair designer. I was really into this one. I joined the drama club and was the Hair and Makeup Manager along with an actual Makeup Artist that graduated from makeup school. So that was fun! Even though not much was taught there and it was just drama makeup (not makeup you would normally wear out) I was still really into it because I already had a passion. I actually wanted to go to school for this but my asian parents are very traditional. They didn’t think it was a good career. It’s very competitive to become famous as a makeup artist because every girl is into makeup! 

So since my dad knows me well enough and he knows my personality and strengths, he suggested me to work for the Tourism Industry. I am a very adaptable person and I like to try new things. I also know what I like and dislike and I knew I was interested in travelling. So I gave it a try. Getting into it was also very easy!! you just need english and math with a certain grade, and I got good grades for both so I didn’t need to stress in trying to get in haha… My dad told me some interesting careers for it and I was interested so ya… hahha now I really wanna work in that industry and going to school for it really made me see that this is for me:D
